Julian Ward

EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN & FOUNDER

Julian has pushed the boundaries of marketing and technology for 20 years, having founded and grown a range of companies across digital, data, media and communications and AR/VR, including the award-winning agency We Are Social Australia, sold in 2015 to BlueFocus. Roles prior span the US and UK, including agencies DDB, Carat, OMD Interactive, Starcom MediaVest and Tribal DDB. He applies his foundations in psychology to a deep understanding of human behaviour in technology and marketing, having advised clients including Adidas, Netflix, McDonalds, Expedia and eBay. He has for many years been an advisor and investor in game changing companies across Australia, US and Asia.

Charles Clapshaw

CHIEF CREATIVE - DIGITAL AND TECHNOLOGY

Charles is an interactive artist - leveraging technologies and seeing what they can become and communicate. He worked for 20 years in advertising, most recently as the global digital president at TBWA working on brands such as GE, Apple, Adidas, L'Oreal, LINE, ANZ, Nissan, VISA and as the MD at mega award winning Tequila in Sydney. Before that he was found at P&G and Air New Zealand, whilst his paintings have been exhibited worldwide and is currently represented in London, Paris, Singapore, Bangkok, Bali and Sydney.

Phil Brown

HEAD OF CONTENT

Phil has been involved in creating and distributing content for nearly 20 years. His most recent role was as Head of Strategy at King Content. In previous roles, he has worked in both agency and client side with brands including Australian Red Cross, NIB and Qantas. Last year, Phil was named in the Top 10 Linkedin Agency Influencers of the year. He advises business on how to accelerate growth with content marketing and is also an advisor and non-executive director to several NFP boards and a data start-up. With a degree in media and experience across the marketing and content landscape, Phil continues to explore how data can shape strategy, inform content and bolster creativity.

Rosanna Iacono

CHIEF BRAND OFFICER

Rosanna is a business leader with extensive experience in senior leadership and brand roles in Australia and Europe, including as Chief Operating Officer of Freedom and Sass & Bide, Chief Brand Officer of Jurlique, Brand Director for Levi Strauss EMEA and head of innovation-focused global business units at Nike Inc. She is a non-executive board director of three organisations, including ethical luxury brand AVGVS. She is also a director of Dress for Success, which supports the economic empowerment of women, and is a passionate advocate of diversity in business.

Rob Shwetz

HEAD OF CLIENT STRATEGY

Rob is a highly experienced media, publishing and advertising executive, having held senior strategy roles at Fairfax, MediaCom, Publicis and Chinadotcom. Canadian by birth, his wanderlust to explore the world has seen him live and work in his native Canada, along with Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, and for the last 14 years, Australia. He is an experienced advisor of startups and not-for-profits, including RESULTS Australia, as well as a graduate of the world’s first and only MBA program in Creativity and Innovation through the Berlin School of Creative Leadership. Rob is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is a firm believer in diversity, curiosity and adventure.
